[InKunming--Kunming]  A wonderful chorus team named Cone Orchestra in the world came to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province as the year of Rooster begins. They decided to found a branch called Kunming Chorus at Kunming Workers’ Cultural Palace.

Beijing Cone Orchestra plays a leading role in the field of musical education. They are willing to work together with Yunnan’s best chorus to establish an internationally first-class chorus.

Kunming Chorus of Beijing Cone Orchestra consists of two parts, including a children team and an adult one. “It is necessary to found such a fabulous chorus in Yunnan. I really hope Kunming Chorus could work hard and make a huge success one day.” the general counsel of chorus, Liu Xiaogeng said.

Kids between 6 to 15 years old who are fond of music could sign up for the chorus. When passing through examinations, they could formally become a member of the chorus and get ready for the rehearsal from 10:00-12:00 each Saturday. Meanwhile, adults selected through layers of screening will practice from 14:00-16:00 on Saturday.

Great command masters will be invited to give several lectures where team members could accumulate knowledge about chorus. All team members could listen to the lectures without paying a dime.

Besides, Kunming Chorus will regularly perform in a gala concert at Yunnan Grand Theater each year in the near future. It is an opportunity for chorus members to show their efforts and gain rich experience.
