[InKunming--Kunming] During the 4th China-South Asia Expo(short for CSA expo), the China-South and Southeast Asia Art Week came on stage.
As the only cultural and art activity of the CSA expo, rich and varied forms of activities, with strong ethnic characteristics, took place.
Three activities became highlights of the China-South and Southeast Asia art week. They were the 7th Mekong Literature Prize Ceremony, the China-South and Southeast Asian Authors Forum and the show of Yunnan ethnic songs and dances.
The 7th Mekong Literature Prize Ceremony and the China-South and Southeast Asian Authors Forum ended lately.
Twelve writers from six countries won Mekong Literature Prize, including Chinese famous writers Peng Jingfeng and Xiao Xue, when the 7th Mekong Literature Prize Ceremony was held.
On the China-South and Southeast Asian Authors Forum, representatives of writers from different countries exchanged opinions about regional cultures and literary creation.
Through the forum, academic exchanges between China-South and Southeast Asia and friendship of writers from different countries were enhanced.
The Yunnan ethnic songs and dances show was also carried forward at the time the China-South and Southeast Asia Art Week was held.
Dances of Yunnan's Hani nationality, Yi nationality, Wa nationality, Dai nationality and Zang nationality were demonstrated within the show. Yunnan folk-style songs were also sung during the show, to reveal diversities and varieties of Yunnan Province.
