[InKunming--Kunming]  China's Dragon Boat Festival falls on June 9 this year. Some Yunnan people from Yunnan Han Chinese Clothing Association wearing Han Chinese clothing celebrated the festival at Tanhuasi Park on June 9.

To let Chinese people feel charms of Chinese traditional cultures, the Yunnan Han Chinese Clothing Association organized celebration activities at the park. A worship ceremony to Qu Yuan, a rite of shooting, a contest for packing rice dumplings, and some artistic performances were held one by one on the day.

Yunnan's young men and women wearing traditional Han Chinese clothing to carry out the celebration activities attracted travelers and citizens' eyes most. The traditional Han Chinese clothing worn by the men and women made travelers and citizens look like coming back to China's Han Dynasty over hundreds of years ago.

China's Pipa dance, classical dance, and Yueju opera performances were also shown at the Tanhuasi Park during the festival. So many performances put on stage at that day were so wonderful that they aroused cheers and applauds of on-site audience.

At the time that the festival celebration activities were performed, the performance site of the Tanhuasi Park was surrounded by huge crowds of people.

A citizen surnamed Guo noted: "Dragon Boat Festival is our Chinese people's traditional festival. To carry forward our Chinese people's traditional festival in such a traditional way is highly recommended. Especially for our kids, to know more about the traditional ways, Chinese traditional cultures will be inherited better."
