[InKunming--Kunming]  Dance opera Evening Banquet, performed by Beijing Modern Ballet Team, is to be put on stage in Kunming Theatre on June 10.

The dance opera, originated from British playwright Shakespeare’s drama Hamlet, recomposed and recreated by Chinese dance director Wang Yuanyuan from an angle of stage aesthetic, will give audience much more imagination.

Wang Yuanyuan, the art director of Beijing Modern Ballet Team, lead the team go for performing various operas both in China and all around the world.

She said: “It takes seven years for me to recompose and recreate the dance opera Evening Banquet. Wish the new adaption of Shakespeare’s Hamlet could promote us to think about our present life again. Even though Hamlet was created by Shakespeare hundreds of years ago, human natures of us, and perspectives on life do not change until now.”

Except for Wang Yuanyuan, other creators of the adaption contain Chinese famous dancer Zhao Ruheng, famous film producer Feng Xiaogang, music director Tan Dun, and visual effects director Tan Shaoyuan.

In some extent, powerful combination of all the creators mentioned above prove the dance opera Evening Banquet having high-quality performance.
