[InKunming--Kunming]  Kunming experienced its first snow this winter on Wednesday (December 16) morning, disrupting the city's traffic.

Kunming Meteorological Station issued a forecast of temperature reduction to below 0℃ in the evening of December 15, providing a warning about dangerous road conditions and extended gridlock.

The station also reported the snow affected normal transition of electricity and communication for the city.

"It's an inconvenience, but snow means a harvest the following year," a citizen said in Kunming city on his Sina microblog.

To most of citizens of the city, they welcomed the falling of the snow. They took photos of snowy sceneries, built snowmen on the streets of the city, and delivered happiness to friends and family members who are far from Kunming via social media.
