[InKunming--Kunming]  Chinese well-known drama Legend of Zhen Huan is to be put on stage on November 14 in Kunming, Kunming Theatre announced.

A few years ago, TV play Legend of Zhen Huan was very popular in China. Until now, most of Chinese TV audience still remembers the play's protagonist Zhen Huan. The drama was so welcomed that it was also introduced to air in the United States.

Unlike TV play Legend of Zhen Huan, which contains 76 episodes, the drama Legend of Zhen Huan that will be played on stage in Kunming only covers 2 hours of content. But both of them are adapted from a same novel Legend of Concubine Zhen Huan.

One of highlights of the drama Legend of Zhen Huan is that the most capable Chinese theatre director Tian Qinxing cooperated with the author of the original novel Liu Lianzi to create the stage drama. The two people’s cooperation means quality of the stage drama will be guaranteed.

Different from TV play Legend of Zhen Huan, the stage drama Legend of Zhen Huan emphasizes how Zhen Huan grows into the most powerful woman in her times. TV play Legend of Zhen Huan mainly tells royal conflicts in the times of Zhen Huan.
