[InKunming--Kunming]  The first China Kunming-ASEAN Boutique Expo, on the theme of culture connection and life change, is to be held from December 4 to 8 in Kunming.

Sponsors of the expo said that to hold the expo is to exhibit culture, tourism, and elaborate handicrafts of AEEAN countries. Culture of these countries is very different from Chinese culture.

By report, redwood products, Buddhism products of Laos are to be exhibited during the expo. Tin products, batik fabrics of Malaysia, polished lacquer paintings of Vietnam, silverware, rattan products of Thailand are also to be displayed in the expo.

Meanwhile, Buddhism Thangka of Nepal, bronze ware, wooden products of Pakistan, and folk culture items of South Korea will be on show in the expo, too.

The expo is supervised by Yunnan Provincial Cultural Industries Management Office, Kunming Municipal Cultural Industries Management Office, ASEAN Countries’ Consulates in Kunming and other related organizations in the meantime.
