Scenic spots in Nujiang open to public for free

[InKunming--Yunnan]  Bingzhongluo scenic spot (丙中洛), the core area of World Natural Heritage Three Parallel Rivers, canceled its entrance ticket charging starting from July 22. It marked that all scenic spots in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture opened to public for free ever since.

Nujiang prefecture has rich tourism resources, especially tourism villages of strong ethnic characteristics. Data showed that the prefecture has 8 travel agencies and 267 hotels by now. In the first half year of 2015, a total of 1,282,800 tourists visited Nujiang, increasing 10.93% year on year; revenue of tourism reached 1.09 billion yuan, increasing 15.5% year on year.

According to Tourism Commission of Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Nujiang is expected become a new highlight and growth point in enhancing tourism industry of Yunnan Province in promising future.

Nujiang began to cancel entrance ticket of scenic spots since 2010. After canceling entrance tickets charge, ticket revenue of the prefecture would reduce several million in general. However, the act would attract more visitors. Meanwhile, ticket revenue would be made up in other ways, such as board, shopping and entertaining, which might make more profit.
