1,875 college volunteers will serve in China-South Asia Expo

[InKunming--Kunming]  The third China-South Asia Expo is to be held in June in Kunming. This year, 1,875 college students have been selected to serve in the expo, according to Volunteers' Work Team of China-South Asia Expo Organizaion Committee.

Over 15,000 college students applied for providing services as volunteers during the expo. Within them, 83 students are chosen as main force of the volunteers; 1,792 students are arranged as volunteers serving in different parts related to the expo.

News from the China-South Asia Organizaion Committee is that scale of the third China-South Asia expo has been enlarged 2 times over the same expo held last year. This year, the expo arranges 12 exhibition pavilions, and 6,000 standard booths.

Under arrangement, these college students volunteers are to provide ten types of services, including counsultation, order maintenance, reception, translation or interpretation, pavilion visiting guidance, media contact, assistance to forum events, assistance to expo organizaiton committee, security, and exhibition hall cleaning.

All college students volunteers are from Yunnan's colleges or universities. They are uniformly managed by the volunteers' Work Team of China-South Asia Expo Organizaion Committee. With unified management, they would provide high-quality services to all exhibiors in the expo.
