[InKunming--Kunming]  A self-driving tour activity, organized by Tourism Authority of Thailand Kunming Office, will kick off in Kunming on May 1. The most prominent characteristic of the activity is that participants will tour around north Thailand by driving cars as well as riding bicycles.

Tourism Authority of Thailand Kunming Office introduced that the journey will last for 10 days, with different topical subjects every single day. Participants are to depart from Kunming, and arrive at northern Thailand via Laos. A professional contingent will guide and ensure the team marching about 50 kilometers every day. The contingent will tour cities like Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai of Thailand.

According to the organizer, many tourists from Guangdong Province have applied for the activity. Many Kunming residents consulted about it, but few of them were willing to take part in. Intended residents could dial 0871-63178840 to Tourism Authority of Thailand Kunming Office to participate in the activity.
