[InKunming--Yunnan]  Qianshi Mountain (千狮山) is located at 1.5 kilometers away from Jianchuan County in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. The mountain is crowned as the cornucopia of stone carving culture, with over 3,000 vivid sculptured stone lions in various postures distributing on it.

Shanghai Guinness World Records authenticated two world records that were made by Qianshi Mountain in October of 2013, namely the "scenic spot that has most sculptured stone lions in number" and "the scenic spot that has the biggest stone lion in the world".

These stone lions are distributed all over the mountain. Marvelous sceneries may run into tourists’ eyes at any time and anywhere. Stone lions – big or small, male or female, standing or lying, construct various fantastic images of lions.

On the top of Qianshi Mountain stands the "king" of these stone lions. It is the biggest stone lion in the world, which is in a height of 25 meters, in a length of 18 meters and in a width of 12 meters. Its open mouth can contain over 10 people who stand in.

These stone lions were all sculptured by Jianchuan government in recent years. A total of 3,268 stone lions were sculptured. They were all made based on images of lions that had been recorded from Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) to Qing Dynasty (1644- 1911) in Bai people’s ethnic culture. It is said that these stone lions are a concentrated display of stone lion carving art over different dynasties in Chinese history.

Qianshi Mountain has become an art gallery of Chinese stone lions. Stone lions are renowned for their numerous amount and huge shape, which have attracted more and more domestic and foreign tourists to visit.
