[InKunming--Exhibitions] From July 10 to 17, the 8th Pan-Asia Stone Fair will be held in the new exhibition hall of International Convention Center in Kunming, according to organizing committee of the fair.
The fair is considered as the first and the biggest stone exhibition both in China and Asia by Chinese viewing stone circle. Two parellel sessions are also set up during the fair, one in Yunnan Rare Stone Selling Bazaar(云南奇石城) and another in Anning's Taiping Contruction Materials Shopping Mall(安宁太平建材城).
Head of Yunnan Rare Stone Selling Bazaar said that 300 booths have been booked until now. Exhibitors from Fujian, Henan, Zhejiang, Hunnan etc. will attend the fair.
Over 300 kinds of ornamental stones that are originated from Yunnan such as marble, iron gall stones, picture stones and porous stones will be exhibited in the bazaar during the fair.
Closing time of the two parellel sessions will be extended to July 22rd, but not July 17th according to the organizing committee.
Fan Yuqing, head of Yunnan Ornamental Stone Association, said: "The fair which will be openned soon has brought so many famous national and international rare stones together. It may provide enjoyment and related knowledge to stone hobbyists."
Other well-known stones such as black pearl stones of Guangxi province, Xiuyan jade of Liaoning province, Huanghe river stones, and Yangtze river stones will be exhibited during the fair, too.
