[InKunming--Kunming]  The 12th Conference for Chinese Businessmen from ASEAN will be held from June 6 to June 8 in Kunming, according to Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the People's Government of Yunnan province.

Over 400 Chinese businessmen from over 20 foreign countries will come to Kunming to attend the conference. They will find valuable projects to invest, and give keynote speeches, as well as communicate with others.

Liu Jinting(刘锦庭), chairman of Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Li Wenxian(李文献), chief executive of Singaporean Keppel Corporation, and other famous overseas Chinese will attend the conference.

Zhang Xinming(张新明), principal of Yunnan's Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, said that some new points will be added into this session of conference.

First, representatives from Brunei, Nepal, and Israel will take part in the conference for the first time.

Second, Chinese talents who work in America, Australia, Singapore, Korea, Japan will come for sharing their first-class management experiences with local technicians.

Third, Myanmar's enterprises and Chinese businessmen who run business in Myanmar will introduce their investment projects in Myanmar to intended investors in Kunming.

The conference encourages Chinese businessmen to invest in border regions between China and Myanmar, in a bid to serve for Chinese domestic enterprises who wish to invest and trade in Myanmar.

By report, Conferences for Chinese Businessmen from ASEAN have been held in China for 11 times since 2003, and have drawn paid-in investments of around 5 billion U.S. Dollars.
