Stands will increase 30% in the 2nd China-South Asia Expo this year compared with the first one. [Provided to InKunming]
[InKunming--Kunming] From June 6 to 10, Kunming will usher in the 2nd China-South Asia Expo at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Up to now, its total sum of stands has reached over 3,000.
Number of indoor stands breaks through 3,000 for the first time
According to Li Jiming, deputy secretary-general of Yunnan Provincial Government, a number of 768 stands will be added in this year's expo. The indoor stands will reach 3,188, achieving a growth of 31.7% than that of last year. Outdoor exhibition area will be 7,500 square meters, 500 square meters larger than that of last year.
The expo has attracted exhibitors from 46 countries or areas, including South Asian countries, as well as countries of East Asia, Africa, Europe, etc. The gross turnover of the expo this year is estimated to reach 20 billion U.S. dollars.
Many world's top five hundred companies will attend the expo for the first time, including 13 oversea companies such as General Motors and Yingli Solar, 13 domestic companies such as Sany Heavy Industry, etc.
Besides, a lot of high-tech products, for example, 3D printers and intelligent robots, will premiere in the expo.
Altogether 10 indoor exhibition areas and 2 outdoor exhibition areas are in varied themes. Pavilions themed on service trade are firstly set this year.
In accordance with state regulation for simplification, variety show will be canceled this year.
Entrance fee will be 30 yuan
The entrance fee will be 30 yuan. Intended residents can book entrance tickets online. The official website of China-South Asia Expo has been put into service.
During the 6-day expo, all pavilions will be covered by WiFi.
Residents who buy jewelries and jades in the expo can authenticate them freely in service centers which are provided every year.
Different from last year, all kinds of related certificates of exhibitors have to be verified this year.
Residents are suggested to take buses and metros to attend the expo since special parking places will not be provided during the expo. Moreover, smoking is strictly prohibited in pavilions. And things that may endanger public security are also banned to bring in pavilions, including knives, lighters, nail polishes, etc.
