[InKunming--Yunnan]  Representatives from Sweden may visit Yunnan during the South Asia Expo this year, and are expected to achieve their first investment in Yunnan, said by Yunnan government.

Provincial governor from Blekinge County, Sweden may lead his representation team to communicate with Yunnan's enterprises during that period.

Blekinge began to associate with Yunnan Since 1999, and until 2002 the two parties officially set up friendly province relationship with each other.

In April of 2008, an investment and trade promotion office of Blekinge County had been established in Kunming. In 2011, Yunnan built up a Confucius Institute in Blekinge University of Science and Technology.

"Two kinds of Swedish enterprises have interests to invest in Yunnan. One is enterprises like Green Fortund and Plantagon which advocate way of sustainable living, and another one is enterprises targeting at industrial revolution, such as Waterjet Lab, which explores technology application of water cutter on gems." said a related professional of Yunnan government.

Thomas Larsson, a Swedish enterpriser who is responsible for tapping Chinese market, said,"Kunming and Yunnan have potentials to develop economy with big strides because of superior location advantages and opportunities provided by the upcoming South Asia Expo."
