[InKunming--Travel Tips]  We Kunming Information Hub will organize a parent-child self-driving tour to the Confusion Temple of Jianshui County on April 12. The activity is aimed at encouraging students who will attend university entrance exam before long.

Confucius & Confucian Temple:

Confucius, a great ideologist and educator, was one of the founder of Confucianism in China and is considered as the greatest Chinese sage in history. Confucius’s teachings provided important references for forming basic morality of Chinese society .

Confucian Temple is a special architecture in which Chinese feudal kings worshiped Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, and delivered Confucianism theories.　　

Activities & Schedule:

Day 1: depart from Kunming at 9:00 and check in at Changyuan Hotel after arriving at Jianshui County.

Head for Confucian Temple at 14:00. Families could make wishes and pray for passing the upcoming university entrance examination in the Confucian Temple. A formal rite will be held there.

After that, psychological experts will give instructions to families to ease their tensions before taking the entrance examination.

Day 2: visit Zhu Family’s Garden Park(朱家花园). By then, some parent-child interactive games will be played.

Go back to Kunming after lunch. Families can also roam free.

Fees: Total fee for participating in the activity is at about 1,618 Yuan for a family of 3 people.

Here are specific fees:

268 Yuan for a three-star level standard room in Changyuan Hotel per night(including a platter of fruit)

500 Yuan for attending the formal rite in the Confucian Temple

270 Yuan for 3 meals for a family of 3 people

150 Yuan for the entrance fee of Confucian Temple(including 60 Yuan for an adult and 30 Yuan for a student)

125 Yuan for the entrance fee of Zhu Family’s Garden Park(including 50 Yuan for an adult and 25 Yuan for a student)

30 Yuan for the guide fee for each family

300 Yuan for enjoying music in Jinlin’an Tea House(including desserts and tea)
