Currently, tickets for appreciating the opera are on sale in the threatre. Intended audiences can consult prices and buy tickets there.

Shuimangcao is a light comedy with exquisite content structure. It tells a story about a rich young lady, whose family has gradually come down in the world, to get along with her mother-in-law after marrying to a poor husband.

Conflicts and misunderstanding happened between the two women. Audience may feel shocks in hearts and get deep thoughts on handling relationship of mother-in-law with daughter-in-law.

Yunnan's ethnic elements, such as Han minority blending with Yi minority, are implanted in the whole opera.

Audience who had watched the opera in other places in China highly prased the opera. They said that the opera reveals real life and is full of philosophic theory.
