Kunming Zoo's parking lots to be closed from Mar 7 to 9

[InKunming--Kunming] Throngs of tourists have flooded into Kunming Zoo to admire the flowering cherry blossom recently. To ease great traffic pressure, the zoo will close two parking lots from March 7 to 9.
Cherry blossom in Kunming Zoo has been a renowned grand scenery for years. For many local residents, admiring the beauful cherry blossom in the zoo has become an essential custom to greet spring in the air.
As spring arrives in the Spring City, flowers bloom again. Meanwhile, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival is in its full swing now.
Data showed that thousands of tourists have visited the zoo per day in past few days, reasulting in serious traffic jams among nearby roads.
Another visit peak is expected to occur around March 8, as scenery of the cherry blossom will be most beautiful then.
To ease the traffic pressure, Kunming Zoo will close two parking lots from March 7 to 9, namely the parking lot outside of the zoo's eastern entrance and the parking lot inside of the zoo's northern entrance. Cars have to be parked in other nearby parking lots by then. Visitors are encouraged to go around by public transportation instead of driving cars or taking taxis.
The available bus routes that head for Kunming Zoo include No. 91 bus route, No. 4 bus route, No. 83 bus route, No. 70 bus route, No. 74 bus route, A2 bus route, No. 100 bus route, No. 101 bus route, No. 59 bus route, No. 129 bus route, No. 22 bus route, No. 187 bus route and No. 85 bus route.
