Yunnan Minorities' Village to hold temple fair during Spring Festival holiday

[InKunming--Festivals]  A featured temple fair is to be held at Yunnan Minorities' Village in Kunming during the forthcoming Chinese Spring Festival holiday, which will last for 7 days from January 30 to February 6.

In the village, tourists can experience many unique customs of celebrating the Chinese Spring Festival, which are featured with great ethnic flavors and varied from one nationality to another. For instance, tourists can participate in the traditional prayer ceremony of Tibetans.

Ethnic dancers will present spectacular dragon dances at the Yunnan Minorities' Village to greet the Chinese New Year. After that, different kinds of performances will be staged by nationalities including Jingpo people, Bai people, Naxi people.

Besides, tourists can also take part in various folk activities to express their devout bless for the Chinese New Year.

A snack street gathering all kinds of ethnic snacks will provide a great gustatory feast for tourists.

Admission fee: the admission fee will see a 20% discount during the Spring Festival holiday, and it is 30 yuan per capita at night.

Bus routes: No. 44 (before 21 o'clock), No. 73 (before 21 o'clock) and A1 bus (before 20 o'clock) are all available.
