New Year Day embraces seagulls festival

The 7th Seagulls Cultural Festival kicks off in Kunming on January 1, 2014,the New Year Day.
Kunming has been striving for building a world famouse tourism city. The cultural tourism in the city has developed into a brand event combining culture, tourism, environment protection with public wellfare. It also expected to be an important event for cultural and trade exchanges, hence to enhance the city's image and cultural influences.
During the 10-day ferstival, sixteen theme events will be held,such as the running race, bicycle riding competition, creative market, photo exhibition and painting exhibition.
The Seagulls Cultural Festival has been held annually since 2008.
