The 3rd Five Hundreds Kilometers City Music Festival 2013, as the only large anti-season music festival in China, will kick off in the Kunming Expo Park on December 24.

Five Hundreds Kilometers City Music Festival was first launched in 2010.

This year, the festival is going to rock the city with the most passionate rock music. Two performance stages will be set up. One is named by "Five Hundreds Kilometers", and the other one is "Taiwan".

Some renowned bands and singers are expected to join in the performance, including the Second Hand Rose Band(二手玫瑰), Miserable Faith Band(痛苦的信仰乐队), Neuville, an European rock band, etc.

The "Taiwan" performance stage will present the most authentic music of Taiwan. Many renowned Taiwanese musicians will perform in the festival site, such as Hu Defu(胡德夫), who was crowned as the father of folk music in Taiwan, Chen Jiannian(陈建年), who was awarded for the best male singer of the Taiwan's Golden Melody Award in 2006, Banai(巴奈), who is said to have the most powerful voice in Taiwan, and the Quarterback Band(四分卫乐队), who is regarded as the leader of Taiwan's hard rock music style.

Besides, #88, the forerunner of the skateboard culture in Kunming, and many trendsetters of the city will bring a visual feast of extreme skateboard and graffiti to spectators on site.

A culture salon will display a world of art, culture, music to spectators. Stalls, leisure areas are all indispensable. A large-scale rave campfire party is also going to be held in the festival.

Portable toilets, reference desks and ambulances will also be provided on site then.

Music festival is not merely a one-day carnival, but more to be a kind of lifestyle. Attitudes toward lifestyle is always placed in highest priority in the festival, so just release your passion and get rid of the cold winter in the Five Hundreds Kilometer Music Festival.

Admission fee for the music festival is about 120 yuan to 150 yuan each person.

Routes to get to the Kunming Expo Park:

Kunming Expo Park is located in No. 10 Shibo Road(世博路), Panlong District. It is about 4 kilometers away from the downtown area of Kunming. 

Buses of No.47, No.69, No.71, No.95, No.182, A1, No.904, A12, C136 are all available.
