Yesterday(October 10), Kunming mayor Li Wenrong(李文荣） met with two Consul-Generals from Consulate General of Myanmar in Kunming and Consulate General of Las in Kunming.

These two Consul-Generals have been assigned to work in Kunming recently.

Li said: "Kunming, Vientiane, the capital city of Laos, Yangon, and Mandalay, key cities of Myanmar are sister cities whose friendship have been deeply forged over the past several year."

Li hoped both Consul-General of Laos and Consul-General of Myanmar on their new positions could cement good relationships between Kunming and sister cities of Laos and Myanmar, strengthen coordination in the fields of city construction, industry development, education, tourism, culture.

Li said Kunming municipal government will make full efforts to serve for all Consulate Generals in Kunming. Two Consul-Generals of Laos and Myanmar stated that they will do their best to widely promote project cooperation between Kunming and Vientiane, Yangon, Mandalay.
