A new bus route, NO. 241, connecting the Yunnan Wildlife Park and the Xiaocaiyuan Overpass will be opened by the Kunming Bus Group starting from October 1 in Kunming.

The newly opened bus route was carried on a trail operation yesterday(Sept.25). Some animals form the Wildlife Park were also invited to promote the new bus route.

The trail operation started from 2 pm. Gibbon, orangutan, tiger, and macaca arctoides rode the No. 241 bus, and witnessed the first run of the new bus route with passengers. The adorable animals in the bus attracted many onlookers.

Local residents applauded for the new bus route. They said, the route is to provide great convenience for residents in urban Kunming to visit the Yunnan Wildlife Park henceforth.

The No.241 bus is to operate from 6 am to 8.30 pm after October 1.

Its ticket price is 1 yuan. IC card and cash are both available.

The bus will start from the Yunnan Wildlife Park, and will be destined for the Xiaocaiyuan Overpass.

The stops along the route respectively are Intersection of Yunnan Wildlife Park, South Qingshuihe Village(outbound and one-way), Qingshuihe Village(return), Kunqu Fork(昆曲岔口), Central Fengyuan Road, North Bus Station Hub(Fengyuan Road), Longtou Street(龙头街), Intersection of Beijing Road(Fengyuan Road), Xinfujiayuan Housing Estate(新福家园小区), Shilijunchen(实力俊城), Yinhexincheng Garden(银河星辰花园), Jinshuiwan Housing Estate(金水湾小区), Beicang Village, Xiaokang Road, Yaolongkangcheng(耀龙康城), Parking Yard of North District(Linyu Road), Shabaying(Linyu Road), Kunyanerbu(昆烟二部), Gangtou Village, Longquan District of Yunnan Normal University, Longquan Residential Area, Macun Overpass, Shangma Village, Xiama Village, Xiaocaiyuan(Yunnan Humanity Hospital) and Xiaocaiyuan.
