Thailand fruit and rice fairs opened in Kunming on August 16. The fairs will last for 4 days until August 20.

Local residents are available to buy 14 kinds of fresh Thai fruits for a 10% discount during the fairs. Fresh fruits are free to foretaste irregularly in Kunming’s 8 Carrefour supermarkets. The fruits include mangosteen, longan, durian, green pomelo,etc.

Besides, staff from Thailand also teach people processes of making authentic Thai foods, and introduce healthy ways of eating fruits.

Jointly hosted by Carrefour supermarket and the Thailand commercial department of consulate general in Kunming, the fairs have been successfully held for 10 times.
