A cross-strait calligraphy and painting exhibition kicked off in Kunming on Friday. More than 100 well-known artists from Chinese mainland and Taiwan took part in the event. More than 380 calligraphies and paintings are being displayed.

Besides to the opening ceremony, a series of activities to share ideas and experiences on calligraphies and paintings will also be held during the next few days. The exhibition in Kunming will last till August 18.

Those exhibited works will be on show for a long time at Yunnan Nationalities Museum.(Editors: Ryan Li, Tracy)
