An intercity project has been proposed in order to shorten traffic time from Kunming to Qujing and Yuxi Cities and Chuxiong Prefecture. It will only take one hour from Kunming to the three places by train three years later.

Preliminary works of seven railway construction projects are to be start soon. Moreover, Yunnan is planning to invest 100 billion yuan for railway construction.(Editor: Tracy, Lynn)
