Dukezong, a 1,300-year Tibetan town

Located in Shangri-la County, Deqen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province, Dukezong ancient city has a history of 1,300 years. In the Tibetan language, Dukezong, means "Moonlight City". It was an important station of the Ancient Tea Horse Road. [Xinhua]

The prayer wheel made of copper in Shangri-La weighs 60 tonnes with a height of 21 meters. It is said to be the biggest prayer wheel in the world.
