Sponsored by Yunnan Photographers Association, a series of photographic exhibitions themed with “charmed images” were held at the former residence of a general (腾越总兵府旧址), Old Street of Kunming from June 14 to the end of this year.

Besides, more than one hundred of Yuan Xiaocen’s paintings and sculptures will be unveiled at the former site of Yunnan Military Academy (near Cuihu Park) in Kunming from June 22.

Yuan Xiaocen is good at sculpturing and painting birds and flowers. He was enrolled by Literature and History Department of Yunnan University in 1938, studying Chinese painting, sculpture and verses. He has assumed the position of professor of Yunnan College of Arts, chairman of Yunnan Association of Chinese National Artists' Association, council of Chinese National Artists’ Association, member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
