A cycling competition will be held on June 8 in Liliang County, Kunming. The registration dates for entry are from May 21 to 31.

The competition will be held on the sky way near Jing’anshao Village(靖安哨村) near the western suburbs of the county. The departure is Jinxing Village(金星村), 2 kilometers from the downtown on the elevation of 1,500 meters. The terminal is Jing’anshao Village with an elevation of 1,800 meters. The full trip covers 6.8 kilometers. The road circles around mountains, and competitors may meet turns in distances less than 100 meters. There are 68 turns on a perpendicular distance of 300 meters.

The competition includes team and individual (men’s group and women’s group) competitions. Bonuses are 5,000 yuan and 4,000 yuan respectively for the top man and woman winner. The highest bonuses for the winning group in team competition is 3,000 yuan. Awards for winners of different ranks in individual groups are shown in the following graph:

The road inclines steeply, and the altitude rises sharply all the way. The organizers suggest the applicants to get a medical examination before applying.

The available number for the men’s group is 150, and women’s group is restricted to 80. The entry fee is 50 yuan for one.
