In the Yi language, "Puzhehei" means a place with lots of fish and shrimp. Located in Qiubei County of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, Puzhehei Scenic Spot boasts its rich lotus resources and charming lake sceneries. There are nearly ten thousand mu of lotus growing on the lakes of Puzhehei. A sea of lotus can be seen here in July or August every year.

How to get there:

Take a long-distance coach from Kunming to Qiubei at the Kunming Passenger Station (near Kunming Railway Station). Get off at the Music Square station of Qiubei and then take the special line to Puzhehei. It takes one about 4-6 hours to get to Qiubei

Ticket price: Day bus: 114 yuan per person; Night bus: 142 yuan per person

Accommodation: hotels in Qiubei or Puzhehei Scenic Spot. One can also choose to live in farmers' houses to enjoy local conditions and customs.
