A direct air line connecting Lijiang, a well-known tourist destination in Yunnan, and Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province, has been put into use. The duration of the daily flight is about 2 hours and 40 minutes. The detailed flight schedule is as follows: taking off from Wuhan at 12:45 and landing in Lijiang at 15:25; departing from Lijiang at 17:55 and arriving in Wuhan at 20:35.

So far, Lijiang is connected with 21 cities by direct flights, including 19 domestic cities in Chinese mainland and 2 outside. The airlines in service totaled 17 at Lijiang Airport which is 28 km south from the the county seat of the city.
