The village gets prosperous based on a railway station, since then an international street had been born. Blond traders got off from the train as well as some foreign bucket, match and coffee that they had never seen before. People could buy what they could not buy in Mengzi, capital county of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, on this street. Blooming trade and convenient traffic made the station a center of import and export in Yunnan Province. The village springed up in Yunnan in the early twentieth century. Restaurants, hotels, shops, cafe, song and dance hall, gambling houses or even whorehouses, people could find what they expected on the street. [yunnan.cn]

Today, the station is old as before. The lively street has disappeared. The remained foreign pub and foreign companies can still arouse years when the town was bustling busy. The sunset shines on the world, there are seldom travelers here. Quietness has become the main rhythm. When people recalled the history, the station becomes more meaningful. [yunnan.cn]
