The reception hall of the Kunming Municipal Exit and Entry Administration has been moved to No. 118 on Tuodong Road (former address of building of Kunming Municipal Bureau for Urban Planning ) from Jinxing Residential Quarter since September 10.

An integrated consulting desk has been arranged at the entrance of the building. All announcements will be shown on an LED screen. People can fill in forms, get documents examined, duplicate materials and queue in line on the first floor. In total, 13 service windows will be added on the second floor to improve the service. A few months later, the reception room for foreigners will be resettled to the third floor, said by Zhang Yalin (张亚琳), vice deputy general of the administration.

A total of 470 residents have got their exit-entry business done by the afternoon of September 10, said Luo Yi (罗怿), a section chief in the administration.

The service centers have been set up in five districts in the urban area of Kunming for applicants who want to exit or enter Kunming. As the service is not restrained by districts, people can can apply for passports and other travel documents without having to go far.
