Kunming plans to upgrade the night fair in the urban areas and build some blocks specially for food and beverages.

The food-featured blocks and upgrading streets will be constructed in Wuhua, Panlong, Guandu and Xishan districts as well as the Dianchi Lake Tourist Resort. Local snacks will be provided both during the day time and at night. Besides, people can also find some small commodities and goods with distinguishing features on these streets.

The detailed upgrading areas are as follows: areas near Green Lake Park, Kundu, Xiangyun Street in Wuhua District, northern urban area, expo garden, Guanshan, Guandu Ancient Town in Guandu District, Jinmabiji Memorial Archway, Dianchi Road in Xishan District, university town and administration center in Chenggong District.
