Some well-preserved ancient complexes erect on the Sideng Street, southeast of Jianchuan County in Dali Bai autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan. [travel.sohu.com]

If you have missed the opportunity to trave around Lijiang and Dali ten years ago, you can visit Sideng Street in an important town on the Tea Horse Ancient Route. As the previous appearance of the street is still remained, it can be rated as the only survival fair on the Tea Horse Ancient Route.

Tour arrangement:

On the first day: you can take a bus to Jianchuan County from Lijiang, and the journey takes about 2 hours. It takes another one hour to Sideng Street.

On the second day: you can visit the Square Streets, old stages, Xingjiao Temple and Benzhu Temple on this street. Some dwellings of Bai people are also attractions on this old street. Going around alleys, visitors can enjoy the quiet time there.

On the third day: hiking to Shibaoshan Grotto, which is the earliest grotto in Yunnan with a history of more than one thousand years. It also boasts the largest scale of the grotto groups in the southwest province.
