Stone Forest

The Stone Forest is in Lunan Yi Nationality Autonomous County, which is about 120 kilometers (75 miles) from Kunming and requires only a three-hour drive. It covers an area of 400 square kilometers (96,000 acres) and includes both large and small stone forests, as well as many other scenic spots.
Three Parallel Rivers

Three rivers – the Jinsha, Nujiang and Lancang – all originated from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, run roughly parallel, north to south for some 170 km. The Three Parallel Rivers site covers land of some 1.7 million hectares. It is representative of rare alpine landforms and their evolution, and one of the richest biodiversity areas in the world.
In 1985, a UNESCO official discovered this world wonder from among satellite scanning images. On July 2, 2003, the site was inscribed on the World Heritage List as a natural property at the 27th session of the UNESCO's World Heritage Committee.
Lijiang

Many people have heard about Lijiang in Yunnan. Though having been there for many times, many tourists regard it as an attraction for many people who take a trip to this province. Lijiang is the main region inhabited by Naxi Group, one of China's 55 minority ethnic groups. In its long history, the local residents have established their splendid Dongba Culture which has absorbed aspects of the culture of Tibet and the Central Plains along the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River.The ancient towns, documents of Dongba are showing you a civilized city of Yunnan.
