More than 600 players from ten countries and regions in the world will take part in the 6th International Budo Association Tourism Festival which includes competitions of Wushu, taekwondo and Taijiquan from April 19 to 21 in Yuxi, a neighboring city of Kunming.

As it coincides with the first tourism festival in Yuxi, activities such as fish-catching and copper pot exhibition are scheduled to be held from April 29 to May 1 in Jiangchuan County and Dongchuan District. Besides, folk performances and competitions of betelnut tree climbing, pheumatic boat peddling and beer drinking are planned to be held in Gasa Town, Xinping County.

Travel tips:

You can drive from Kunming—Yuxi Express way and it usually takes about one hour to Yuxi.
