Located at the east of Kunming, Shihuguang Forest Park covers an area of 13,200 square meters. It has been opened since March 2006.

Plenty of plants are cultivated in the park, including osmanthus fragrans, gingkgo, camphors, red maples, fatsia japonicas, rhododendron championiaes, duranta linns and geraniums. Some of the trees are over 50 years old.

Lawns of 4,575 square meters are paved in the park. Also, pavilions, stone bridges, wood plank road and pebbly streams are built.

Moreover, colors of lights are placed. Even at nightfall, the park is one of the beautiful sceneries in Kunming. (Editor:Tina He, Ryan Li)
