More than 400 foreign guests of China International Travel Mart (CITM) from 97 countries and regions visited Guandu Ancient Town in Kunming on October 28. They speak highly of the food and folk performances there.

"It's so nice!" said a Canadian man who tasted the Guandu Er’kuai (rice cake). He said that he had had the Er'kuai thirty –five years ago, but he still remembers the flavor. Tasting it again this time reminded him of the past. After the guide's interpretation of Er'kuai, Otis from Canada was marveled and said: "it is not only good food, but the combination of culture. The Guandu Pizza is fantastic!"

The performances of Yunnan Opera and folk embroidery also attracted a great many tourists. When seeing the costumes and embroideries which were featured with Yunnan ethnic styles, a Japanese woman said: "the old complex here is characterized by ethnic group styles, and the ethnic groups here are attracting." Mike inquired about the history of Yunnan Opera after seeing it.
