At the same time of integrating bus passenger transport stations in the urban district, Kunming Municipal Road Transport Administration Bureau has also introduced a website called "Kunming Passenger Transport" which is planed to open from January 1, 2009 to provide online bus ticket booking services. Then, tickets of the five main passenger transport stations are also expected to be booked through text messages.
"Passengers are expected to arrive at the station to pay for and fetch the tickets 24 hours in advance of dispatching because online payments are not available currently", introduced by a staff member of the Kunming Municipal Road Transport Administration Bureau.
