Construction of Haihe River pollutant intercepting project will be started in March and related land demolition project will be carried out at the end of February. Deputy director of Standing Committee of Kunming Municipal People's Congress Zhang Xianzhong (张显忠) inspected the projects of along-river land demolition, environmental comprehensive improvement and pollutant interception on site.

It is known that Haihe River pollutant intercepting project and water environmental governance is one of sub-projects of Planning of Water Pollution Prevention in Dianchi Lake Basin. The whole 37515.7 yuan- invested Haihe River project covers an area of 526mu, and it is estimated main construction will be finished in fourth quarter.
